75 during the day, 55 at night and sunny skies is what Central Florida is like in the winter. Winter weather here is amazing and the average winter temperatures more than make up for the average temperatures in the summer months.
Drier air and an average high in the mid seventies is probably what heaven is like. Unlike the remainder of the Continental United States digging from snow drifts we typically get no where near freezing temperatures. Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando are literally packed with those who know how great the weather is here. Just bring a jacket for those cool nights as the average low may seem cooler with a breeze.
Warm days persist through till lake winter months as the jet stream loves Central Florida and the Orlando area. The Average High temperatures combined with an ocean temperature in the high sixties to low seventies draw some people to the beach during the mildest winters. Florida enjoys many sunny days and the rainfall total is very low December, January and February.
Predominant tropical easterly winds make for wetter winters during El Niño winters. However most of ours are what is called the a Nina Winter which tourist love. Mild winters with very few cold snaps are what you can expect here. In Tampa Bay you also have the incoming warm sea breeze that helps protect from those occasional cold snaps.
Central and Southern Florida winters combined with gorgeous coastal regions. Theme parks, holiday boat parades and the Sunshine State create many Floridians.
