No, Naples Florida is not considered Central Florida. Naples Florida is considered to be located in South Florida or specifically southwest Florida. The southernmost counties considered to be in Central Florida are Hillsborough County and Pinellas County 100 miles to the north.
Naples Florida is still in the recovery phase but that will soon change. The 2023 hurricane season was somewhat rough on southwest Florida which normally get a pass from all but thunderstorms and the occasional tropical storm. Now downtown Naples and Naples Bay are experiencing something else. Housing prices in the Naples area are going down all of the way north to the Tampa Bay area. If you have ever wanted to live close to the beautiful white sand beaches of Naples Florida you may be able to afford to now.
Naples is an amazing place and so often overlooked with all of the hoop-la over it's neighbors to the north. This is a small but modernized city that still has that quintessential beach town feel. The city of Naples has the Naples Zoo and a wide array of other attractions and one of the best if not the best all around beach along the southwest Florida Gulf of Mexico. When I lived in Miami we would visit this area to fish in the everglades to the south or the in the Gulf of Mexico via the Tamiami Trail.
