Is Florida A Good Place To Live In?

Yes, Florida is a good place to live in. Living in Florida is living in the Sunshine State. There is no state income tax for Florida residents, affordable housing, Beautiful beaches and countless tourist attractions. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and more. Moving to Florida is a fantastic idea.

Tampa FL & Florida Facts

Living In Florida Is Much More Than Theme Parks & A Lack Of State Income Taxes

It normal for certain things to come to mind when most people think of Florida. Since 70,000,000 people a year visit the theme parks most will automatically consider Universal Studios and Walt Disney World. Others will consider the world class beaches, the Atlantic Ocean on the east coast or consider the laid back beach lifestyle along the Gulf Coast and coastal cities.

The more nuanced will consider the Kennedy Space Center, the diverse population, Everglades National Park or possibly Florida State University and the many wonderful colleges here. Others will think the Central Florida warm weather and Southern Florida tropical climate are more than enough. To live in Florida is love natural beauty and the best cities in America.

Florida Residents Love Professional Sports Culture

Sports happen in Florida year round. Even spring training retreats to Florida to enjoy warm weather. Not to mention the average winter temperature lows are more than the highs in some northern states. Florida has the Florida Panthers, Miami Marlins, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and so many more.

South Florida & The Natural Disasters Florida Residents Risk

After paying your property taxes in Miami and Miami Beach then you have to pay homeowner's insurance. Even if you live in affordable housing you are now paying above the national average to live in this part of the Sunshine State. Fort Lauderdale is only slightly better and traffic is atrocious. True both have gorgeous Florida beaches but then what?

Better Options In Central Florida Along The Atlantic Coast

After reviewing the southern tip of the state look to the north. Florida offers much more than just the crowded beaches south Florida. As you venture north to Palm Beach you will start seeing why this is also the golf capital. I suggest Palm Beach county northward. Better property taxes are what you can expect from here to Daytona Beach all the way up to St Augustine and Jacksonville. Not to mention a better quality of life.

Beautiful Beaches in Western Florida & All The Sunny Weather

Clearwater Beach holds the record for continuous sunny days. What else is the beach and Gulf Coast good for? Deep sea fishing, scuba diving and boosting Florida's economy. If you are looking for beautiful beaches the coastal cities are where to find them. This starts from Naples runs all of the way up the west coast to Pensacola Beach.

Why Tampa Florida?

Tampa Has Busch Gardens, and Tampa Bay has the most beautiful beaches in any one area within Florida. The theme parks in Orlando are only 2 hours away. Not to mention the economy is thriving here and job opportunities seem to be around every corner. There are parts of the city with a high cost for housing prices and parts of Tampa have a fairly low cost of living. Tampa is a very popular tourist destination and the 3rd largest major city in Florida. Tampa Florida as a whole is a good place to live in.
