Yes Florida has better beaches than California does. California is better for surfing but Florida absolutely has superior beaches and beach towns. Our sand is whiter, cooler and out water is clearer. Once you eliminate surfing from the equation Florida wins hands down.

First let's talk about San Diego California's beaches. The water temperature in Fahrenheit in January is 59 degrees. The water temperature in June is 64 degrees.
