Where Do Rich People Live in Tampa Florida?

Rich people live basically in 4 parts of Tampa FL. Downtown Tampa, Davis Islands, Harbour Island and yes, South Tampa. You will find the affluent neighborhood of Avila has quite a few wealthy people in northern Tampa but the housing prices do not lie as they reflect supply and demand.

South Tampa and Hyde Park

South Tampa is actually a mixture of many styles of homes and incomes. Some of the older remaining homes are affordable to many Tampa Bay residents. That is slowly changing as the older homes are slowly being replaced with newer more modern ones. See more about Hyde Park here.

Along the western coast is where the wealthiest neighborhoods are located. One of, if not the most expensive communities in all of Tampa is located there. That gated community is Culbreath Isles but I suspect the Isles at Old Tampa Bay will be giving it a run for it's money. Those are set to be two of the finest neighborhoods in the Tampa Bay area.

Beach Park Neighborhoods in Tampa

Beach Park and Beach Park Isle are two beautiful but slightly older neighborhoods in Tampa. They are considered South Tampa and on the western shore or Westshore of it. These beautiful communities have winding roads and beautiful homes and shade trees. Not to mention compared to Downtown Tampa they are much closer to the beach and Tampa International Airport. Yes, the Beach Park neighborhood is tough to beat.

Davis Islands One Of The Richest Neighborhoods in Tampa

Davis Islands is one of the if not the richest neighborhoods in Tampa. It certainly has some of the most expensive homes and it is the only one of the Tampa neighborhoods to have an airport, although not exclusively for it's residents. But Davis Islands has its own beach, boat ramp and much more tucked away on the southern tip of it. This is a great place to live even without waterfront neighborhoods.

Harbour Island

Harbour Island is the largest gated community (I know there is more than 1 inside) in all of Tampa Bay. This island is just about as private as you can get while still being just across the channel from Downtown Tampa, the Florida Aquarium etcetera. Just about ever type of hos is represented on Harbour Island.

Honorable Mention For Some Of The Richest Neighborhoods in Tampa
