Let's have some fun with math. According to the United States Census Bureau the city of Tampa has 175.8 square miles. Based on our projected growth the city should have just surpassed a population of 400,000. That is 2,275 Tampa residents per acre. Obviously Downtown Tampa will be more densely populated than most of the Tampa Bay area.
Well since Tampa Bay generally has great weather or at least better than the national average we do a lot of outdoor things, even in the winter. We have the best beaches in central or South Florida. The housing costs are about average for the nation. There is no state income tax but property taxes are a little over 1.1% for most of the Tampa Bay area. You cant beat this big city when comparing it to others in Florida.
