I say you should spend 4 to 5 days in Tampa Bay. If you are actually coming to check it out and enjoy what it has to offer then 5 days or more is even better. Tampa FL has a lot to offer and Tampa Bay has even more. Soak it all in, than pack up and move here.
Here are my suggestions to work into your Tampa Bay itinerary. If you have the opportunity watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play at Raymond James Stadium. Then head to the downtown area and visit the Tampa River Walk along the Hillsborough River. Then if you have time grab the streetcar to the Cigar Capital Ybor City and have a meal at the historic Columbia restaurant. Maybe even have the iconic Cuban Sandwich. The street car will get you within a block of it from nearby any Florida Museum.
The next day be prepared to visit the attractions of Downtown Tampa. Attractions like the Florida Aquarium where you can see sea turtles etc. From there head over to the Tampa's History Museum, Tampa Museum of Art, The Tampa Museum of Photographic Art and if you have youngsters Glazers Children's Museum. Have dinner and maybe catch a Tampa Bay Lightning game.
With three days in Tampa Bay I suggest the following. Think theme park, roller coasters and more. Adventure Island, Busch Gardens and Zoo Tampa are all things to do when visiting Tampa Bay. If you like at least 2 of those can be done in one day and all three can easily be done in two days in Tampa.
So many fun things, so little time. Head to the Gulf Coast or West Coast of Florida for an amazing beach vacation. If you are young or young at heart head to Clearwater Beach. If you are looking for the perfect blend of party and relaxation head to St Pete Beach as both are in the Tampa Bay area and are within about 30 -45 minutes of the Tampa International Airport. After you fall in love with Downtown Tampa and wish to move here reach out to us for assistance.
