Yes, there is a train between Tampa and Orlando. Tampa to Orlando is currently only served by Amtrak. The direct train depart Tampa Union Station and travel to the Orlando Station. The average price for a ticket is around $23 and travel time is just under 2 hours either way.
Earlier today I did see a report that the new Brightline Station will be located in Western Ybor City. Currently the "hope" is that the Brightline will be carrying passengers by the end of 2026 but that is likely optimistic. Why? The Brightline needs a railway that can support it at speeds up to125 mph. Right now there are several major projects that also will need to be completed along the I-4 corridor before any railway construction is likely. Brightline has officially announced there will be a Cocoa station East of Orlando near Cape Canaveral.
The Tampa Union Station is located on the eastern side of Downtown Tampa. You will find it on the northern end of the Channel District at 601 N Nebraska Avenue, Tampa FL, 33602. You can reach them by phone at 800-872-7245 and the station has been open since the very early 1900's.
The Orlando Station is found about 6 miles northeast of Universal Studios and just less than 1 mile south of Downtown Orlando. It is not at Orlando International Airport that is the Brightline and Sunrail train companies (primarily). Supposedly years from now there will be competition for Amtrak on the Tampa to Orlando train route. Hopefully a high speed train with more than just a coach class.
